HISTORY OF BLOGGER:

  • On August 23, 1999, Blogger was launched by Pyra Labs. As one of the earliest dedicated blog-publishing tools, it is credited for helping popularize the format.
  • In February 2003, Pyra Labs was acquired by Google under undisclosed terms. The acquisition allowed premium features (foRrwhich Pyra had charged) to become free. About a year later, Pyra Labs' co-founder, Evan Williams, left Google.

BLOGGER VS WORDPRESS:WHICH IS BETTER?

According to my opinion, Blogging is necessary for a site’s quick and progressive development. A Blog, undoubtedly gives a great boost to the site’s Pagerank and even helps a site to get listed under the top results (for the specific keywords) in the Major Search Engines like Google and Yahoo. It is always advisable for a Blogger to make a blog with the help of a blogging platform such as Blogger, Wordpress or Typepad. Now the question which arises in everyone’s mind is that “Which blogging platform should we choose?” For these questions to be answered I’m giving you the salient features of both of the largest blogging communities i.e. Blogger/Blogspot and Wordpress for you to compare for yourself.
As Google is the largest search engine and Blogger comes under the chain of Google, Blogger is always given more preference and it generally gets indexed by Google within some hours of publishing blog whereas Wordpress on the other hand takes more time to get indexed by Google. If want to start a blog with the sole purpose of earning money from it, Wordpress is not the correct option for you, as it does not allow any kind of advertising to place on their blog until and unless the blog is externally hosted on your own personal domain.

EARNING THROUGH WRITING REVIEWS:

Sponsored Reviews is great because they allow you to search for advertisers directly and bid on jobs. Their bidding system allows you to negotiate rates with advertisers in order to maximize your earnings. They also provide the largest payout of all review networks by only taking a 35% commission for their services. That means you can earn anything from $10 to 500+ for each review. Their user interface is one of the better ones out there and the only drawback to their service is the lack of advertisers. I’m sure it will continue to grow it’s advertising base so they are at least worth a look. One other perk is their affiliate program. Earn up to $175 per Advertiser and $90 Per Blogger referred. Payouts are based on money spent by the advertiser and money earned by the blogger. See the chart below for payouts. Their average advertiser spends several hundred dollars so most referrals will be worth
